He had a warrant out and it was 2 months later. After the ATM, they then drove to wherever they process the payment after he got the cash so it didn't go in the GW pocket. Saved them having to put him in jail and still got their money. Ticket happened in Donley county and they had him arrested/held in Lubbock on a warrant for not paying his original fine. It was 15 years ago.

Just last year, the GW checked us and had one of our guys didn't have his hunters safety go to her house within 2 days and show the deferral. If he didn't, she was going to show up at his work place and write a ticket. They can do what they want and go anywhere they want.

Many rules broken in my late teens and early twenties, but that all just gets written off due to typical youthful stupidity.

Keep my nose pretty clean now. One ticket for forgetfulness... Had my deer properly tagged and hang'in up. GW checked my license and I forgot to fill out the back center part. No mercy. $150.

lol, these are good stories. ill tell u what ive done illegal. well the thing me and my buds did the most was hunt doves after legal shooting hours...we never got caught, but im sure not doin it again!!! that, and i shot a buck <13 inches, 12 and a half to be exact. ive never broken any fishin laws that i can think of. i guess thats all of my illegal activities in the fishin and hunting world. o and ive shot a dove or two while driving a truck/four wheeler.... poop on that idea as well.

I did that once. An old ugly grackel, dad caught me doing it made me clean it and eat it.

I have done that, but they were always trash birds that were not protected and not game birds...

Broke'em all at some time. Well a bunch anyway. Didn't always mean to. Went dove hunting one day and slaughtered them. Found out the next day hunting season had ended a day earlier. Whoops.

Yeah... my dad was crazy about stuff like that. Everything by the book. I even had to take the hunters safety course when I turned twelve before he would let me hunt deer with my own rifle.

One time in Oklahoma I shot at a group of geese and dropped eight. One shot, eight geese. Needless to say, the game warden wasn't too happy. It probably had something to do with the fact that we'd forgotten to buy an Oklahoma waterfowl stamp. I tried to get my dad to tell the warden (I was 16 at the time) that I only shot once, but for some reason, he wouldn't.

I would need to check and see if there are any I havn't broken in my younger days. I had the local GW on my tail for about 4 yrs. Seemed like a game back then. He never got me fair and square, he had to make up something. I didn't blame him, I'da cheated too, in his shoes.

The one thing (not the only thing) that i done. When I was old enugh to know better but too young to care. A friend of mine had a small lake close to my house . Wood ducks loved it and I loved to hunt ducks. I loved to hunt ducks A little too late in the day. One season my brother inlaw and I roosted them every day for a week.Dont know how many we shot and dont want to know. But 25 years latter I still feel bad when I think about it. But I did try about every duck dish that a man could that year.If we would have been caught, they would have just shot us, and thats what they should have done.First time I ever told this story to anyone but very close friends.

Yeah, I will admit it. I was one chickadee killin machine with my pellet gun. I would even throw them in a game vest and count how many I shot. Best day was nine. I actually feel horrible about that to this day, but I was just a kid.

I went trout fishing in the bay once and forgot to renew my license. The fishing God's paid me back for that one though, because I got skunked and the buddy I was with limited out. My buddy retells that story all the time. He labeled me the fishing nerd that day. Since then, I have redeemed myself and can catch a limit of trout myself!
