I got a little carried away waiting on windows solar panel battery propane tank holder curtains and and and I remember the days of sitting in a tripod for days in sleet and freezing rain. My justification for all this is getting to take my kids more often.

dude that thing is awesome
i have to ask, is it not dangerous to run the propane heater inside the sleeper since its fairly sealed up? ive read of ppl dying in their sleep while camping because they had propane heaters burning in their tents, however, most ppl i know use small propane heaters in their blinds. just thought id ask because ive been wondering for a while

from what I understand, the catalytic heaters are safe. Just pop in a battery operated CO detector, and you should be fine

The heater shut itself off if low o2 is sensed.I do not think it will ever run that long anyways. I will run lights, laptop, fan off 12 volt

looks really great-how did you seal the big opening up & how did you fasten the metal tubing to the bottom that attaches to the trailer?

jack h took it to the deer lease this weekend over 300 miles no problems at all.
swatguy the front is a piece of 1/4" plastic sheet from a plastic supply shop and the sleeper has a aluminum frame base that I bolted the square tubing to. Square tubing was welded on a plate that was welded to metal floor

That is so cool. I know where there is some "sleepers" that have been removed from over the road trucks and now they just haul local. I might stop and check them out. A condo sleeper would be great
