I would think an hour would be more than sufficient. If the deer are bedded down within 40 yards of your stand, it won't matter how early you get there, you're still going to bust them out of their beds.

Arrrgh, I over slept!! Got there at 7am.. feeder goes off at 7am. haha... Didn't see anything, they don't seem to ever hit this new feeder in the mornings, but in the afternoon...

I was so bored this morning sitting in the dark that I would close my eyes, count to 100 really slow, then open them and see how much lighter it got, lol.

depends on if my cheap a$$ alarm goes off or not haha... Depends on if my wife is in camp. She is hot. If she is not there 45 min before light. If she is there 9:30 or so.

2 hours before light...give me plenty of time to watch the animals with the night vision... the deer act different at night... they dont seen to be as weary

i agree 45-1 hr before because of movement and sound getting to the blind. It is loud getting to my blind and i like things to settle down before it gets shooting light...
