From what I understand, it can range anywhere from real good to not worth a krap. I know someone who hunts a very small piece of property out there and has a lot of bucks on it.
I wish I could find a place out that way that wouldn't break the bank.
Picture removed. clowns creep me out.

My place is about 3 or 4 miles South of Bowie. I see plenty of deer. However, I usually see the bigger ones at night on my game cam.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley, Rancher Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP

I hunt in Cass County, which is just below bowie county. Depending on how close to Wright Patman lake you are, you can see some monsters down in the little feeder creeks off of the lake. The futher out you get is pretty much slim pickens.
Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

Bowie, TX Montague County....lived in the area all of my life. There are some good deer in the area, but normally the hunting pressure is high. West of Bowie and the terrain turns to flat land and plains and to the east rolling hills and oaks. Its very hit and miss but capable of producing some nice deer.
