Guys give me a break, once you factor in the price of gas, time spent, hunting equipment, and miscellaneous other costs this is not a viable excuse.

Not taking up for the guy in any way but this makes no sense. Doesn't cost anything to take your old shotgun and buckshot and drive down the road and shoot a deer. Please explain to me all these "costs"...

You are right, just let him go and maybe he will end up on your land next. He should be able to shoot and kill whtever he wants because I have broken the speed limit. You are DEFINTELY right. What a crock.

Yep that is exactly what he said. "let him go"....
Can you read?

You kill people for poaching? So it isn't ok to kill a deer but ok to kill a person...

I think you're more full of shlt than an inner city sewage system. You "heard a gun shot" and "back tracked his trail" not likely. So the guy who killed it left it in a spot you could find? Yeah right. Besides I highly doubt you're so good at tracking, especially when you have to get your wide rear through some brush. Not like you're an Indian that can track a rat for 7 miles. If you hid his deer then he shouldnt have been able to find it right? So the GW's waited on him for what, to walk out carrying a shotgun? Thats legal. You also happened to drive by at just the right time to see him getting arrested...what a coincidence. I think you just like to start BS stories just like your daddy. Chip off the ol' block. If you want to catch a poacher, just follow him around for a little while
nidea

Hey Butter Bean you should probably keep to yourself about the poaching you like to do. Some of these people seem to be a little angry with your smart remarks. I figured you like to poach considering the people you hang out with, but I don't care as much as some other people so your secret is safe with me wink

yeah it doesn't cost anything to drive right out in front of your house and shoot a deer with a 20 year old slug stored away in the closet.
The point your missing is that isn't the way it happens 99% of the time. People drive all over the county/counties picking spots. If I was starving to death I don't think I would be that worried about driving all over the county in a truck that gets 5 miles/gallon. Most of the time they are using a new rifle or shotgun with new rounds or slugs that do cost money or is custom built with a supressor. So 99% of the time it does cost money

Yeah it costs money if you are a big time poacher trying to kill trophy deer and not get caught. But that is not what we were talking about.
It doesn't cost anything for man to take his old .22/shotgun and kill a deer on the side of the road to take home to his hungry family which is what we were talking about.

Why can't this "poacher" do us all a favor and kill some pigs? I don't think anyone would be too upset over that.
