poacher got caught this morning in denton county. he shot a fawn with buck shot on the corp property. his hunting didnt start very well this year!!! glad he got caught

Hope they throw the book at him. Gun hunting out of season, no deer hunting on Corp land, no bucket shot on federal land and he probably did not even have a permit to begin with. I would have even got him for any hunter orange violation at that point. String him up.

The bad thing is that if he fights the charges nothing will come of it. Most County/Proescuting Attoneys will not push the charges. I personlly caught 2 on MLD private property Dec. 26th 2008. There were a total of 7 adults & 1 12 yo boy. Only 2 were on the property, the others were on public property (river). The GW has written statements from several of the adults as to what the 2 were doing at that time and what had been done in the past. Nothing has been done about it as of this day by the local authorities.

Take his gun, car/truck, and hunting lic. for life, and anything else he was using at the time. How old were they? In any case it sucks to be them. They get what they deserve.
