If a hunter is abiding within the law, be it bow, crossbow or rifle, why do others feel they can criticize fellow hunters on their methods of taking legal game? We as hunters take on tons of grief from ant-hunters and peta folks without fighting amongst ourselves. We need to be an example to others that we give back to nature more than the game we put on our table. If another hunter harvest an animal by other methods than what someoneelse is accustomed to what is the problem?

My point is that I hear from guys who put down bow hunters, cross bow hunters, trappers and rifle hunters all complaining about some one else hunting adifferent way than they are and it casts a bad light on all of us

I think we should all hunt 10 acre high fence ranches, and shoot yearling bucks that are less than 13" wide while hunting corn feeders from tower stands and using only crossbows for weapons!

Just my opinion of course! back

welcome

You must be talking about your own group of friends who hunt. There is no one on here that says or complains about how you kill your deer. We could care less how you kill or how somebody else kills. There are some people who are against high fence hunting but those people aren't saying it's bad they just think it's stupid.

You'll like it here because we all hunt and we all kill by every legal means necessary. Tell whoever is giving you crap to join us and we will wear him out to the point were he will feel like he never made that statement.

I haven't been here long myself, but I think you'll find a pretty understanding bunch on this one. The first post I put up was of a hog caught with dogs, and it was well recieved.

Some hunters are afflicted with I'mbetteritis, whether its bows better than guns, anything better than dogs, whitetail better than anything else or whatever. I find it sad. you don't see much of it here, which is why i like it.

I think you covered every topic of complaint that I have heard on here from day one...too funny!!!

If we aren't supposed to eat the animals, then why did God make them out of meat?

How about those who hunt while driving a Camero at night and drinking PBR?

Welcome!

Look, I see this as similar to how it worked with my brothers and I growing up. We would fight constantly amongst ourselves for all kinds of stupid reasons, but god help the outside person that decided to pick on one of us, they got the wrath of all three. I see the forum as the same way, we all enjoy the outdoors and this is a forum where we can talk and argue amongst ourselves. You will see soon enough that there are MANY things that we do not all agree on, but whoa be it for someone from outside the group to attack the ONE thing that we all agree on

JMHO

There's no one here that argues about anything.

Now see, that's my line of thinking. It may sound a little barbaric, but it's true!

welcome sir, the problem is, if we agreed on everything there wouldn't be a forum...For the most part I think we all are for hunters, not against, but sometimes we disagree on which method(s) is (are) best.
