Hey Everybody, Here my situation I’ve got a new Springfield 1911 and it’s not cycling hollow points. Did some research found this article ( http://www.sightm1911.com/lib/tech/reliability_secrets.htm) decided I was going to do the buffing myself. I’ve got a 5 speed dremel and some white rouge but backed out at the last second and decided to get yalls take on it. Any help would much appreciated

Don't do it. The carriage does not ride up the ramp! It bounces of of it. Call Springfield and they will fix it. If you must pay shipping or if time is important find a GOOD 1911 SMITH and get him to look it over and give a estimate. Get it done by a pro.

If you take all the guns off the street you still will have a crime problem, whereas if you take the criminals off the street you cannot have a gun problem.
