Looking to change my rifle stock and add the rubberized sand colored coating. I can't remember what it's called. Also would like to match my scope. Any recommendations or tips for how to and products would be great. Thanks

I have a buddy that has painted a few of my guns for me. They all turned out pretty cool and have held up ok. He just stuffed the muzzle so you don't get paint in there, and then sprayed primer on the rifle and scope (be sure to cover the glass), and then he painted it one solid color, and then went back and did the detail work with an airbrush. Two of them he painted different camo patterns and the other was pink/black camo for my wife's 22. Not sure what kind of paint he used, but he has all this stuff because he used to paint cars for a living, not sure I would try it myself. These were all relatively inexpensive guns too by the way!!

Thanks twice70, I would be painting a pretty cheap savage 111. Just looking to try something different on my own.
