I've been wanting to go on a mule deer hunt for about 4 yrs now, if the chips fall right I'll have a chance to go on two different ranches this year in terrell county.

If all my hunters have tagged out before the end of season (which should happen) I'll take one for myself. On that note.. I still got a couple slots if someones looking for a Muley this year. What's a little bizzare is that I've got 2010 almost filled. Surprised that I've still got 2009 openings.

I went on my first Mule Deer hunt opening day Saturday. It's awesome.

we are in crockett county and i have some suspected mule deer that might get culled off of the ranch or allowed to mature to become massive.

Mike has been trying to get me out on a mulie hunt. But I am thinkin those audad sure look cool and are good eatin.

New Mexico, Hondo area, November 20-25, second ever mule deer hunt counting down the days

careful what you wish for... I said that one time and halfway to Gunnison, Co they decided to nickname me "packmule".

I drew an either species tag for KS this year, so if the whitetails aren't cooperating after the first day or two of the season I will be heading west to try and get my first mule deer.

It actually worked out pretty well for me this year. I have a buddy that wanted to go try and get a Kansas whitetail and said if he drew his non-resident tag he had a bunch of land along the republican river in NW Ks that we could hunt that is loaded up with big muleys.

Lincoln Natl Forest on the first hunt, 4 long weeks away till I leave. Seems like it will never get here.

I wanted to go, but I have to work. I have a group of friends that went on early Archery in NM around steam boat. They jsut got in last night from rifle hunting around baggs, WY. They got two bucks around 26". I belive they said both we'er 5x5's. Then they have one trip in a month or so back to NM for a rifle hunt. Usually they take only one trip, but this year they are taking three.

New Mexico Unit 31 on the Pecos River right across the Texas border. Texas doesn't get enough respect for our Desert Muleys. I'll post some pics sometime from the ranch.

I'll be in the Lincoln Nat Forest, Unit 30, last rifle season. 31 days.

BETTER luck during Rifle Season

Every year i go private land mule deer in new mexico. Its good to have freinds that let you hunt for free. Ill be hunting around the caprock north of clovis.

Do you guys hunt public land in New Mexico and if so, how do you go about doing that?

Finally got drawn after 10 years to hunt the northwest corner of Nevada. Heading out on the 25th. The outfitter killed a 204" and 206" last year in the units I drew. Hope I see something of that size. Will post up after I return.

3rd Muley hunt for me this year. Got one on each of the past trips with the largest being a 169" 5x5 typical. Going to a place just south of Kent this year Dec. 14-16.
