Its opening morning of bow season and Im sitting here at work. I had to get up at 4:00 this morning to head into work instead of heading to my favorite bow stand. It would be a perfect morning to be in the stand. I envy everyone of you out there right NOW!

Im doin the same thing. Should be huntin but im workin. Had to be here at 5 am and dont get off till 5 pm. Ob well its OT so i shouldnt complain. Good luck to everybody and post pics.
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

im going to catch the evening hunt, i didnt have anything set up so it would off been hard for me to be setting up a pop up blind at 430 in the morining.
We work anything an everything masonry,we have been in this trade for over 40+ years of experience.

I'm in the same boat. My wife is on a retreat this weekend so I have the 5 kids to myself until Sunday night. I'm goint to take some time off this week to make up for it though. The weather here right now would be so perfect for sitting in a stand; it is killing me.

Full moon, wait till next week Glad im not the only one sittin at home! And as for the moon phases, i actually did work with Dr. Kroll (AKA Dr. Deer) at SFA for a year and he swears by it that the moon has absolutely nothing to do with the way deer pattern themselves. They actually rigged cameras to different deer and did extensive research on deer patterns and found that, no moon or full moon, deer still do the same thing... Of course there are exceptions but for the most part i have trouble denying his proof! Anywayz just wanted to share that with yall so next time its a full moon dont count urself out!

Full moon, no moon... It doesnt matter to me. All I know is when I walked out to my truck this morning, I wanted to be in my stand so bad it wasn't funny. The wind was coming out of the north, the leaves where blowing across the ground, and the hair on my neck stood up because I knew it was the season I've waited 9 months for. I will be in my stand come Friday evening
