I just bought a new set of Alpha's. One of the guys I hunt with wears them exclusively. He just layers up underneath. I'll pm you a link to the alpha's I bought. I got a pretty damn good deal.

They are awesome. Lightweight and very durable. Sure they may get a little chilly in the few really cold days but how many times have you got sweaty putting out the dekes in neoprene waders and then got cold from being wet. I have a Cabelas brand that I have had for approximately 11 years. I will be going to Cabelas this weekend to pickup a new pair of their breathable waders.

There are a lot available with boot feet with 600 or 1000 gram Thinsulate.

A pair that looks interesting are the Warrior II's. They have breathable uppers and the legs are sheathed in 1.5mm neoprene. The boots have 1000 gram insulation. They're in a couple of catalogs I have, but Cabela's doesn't have them on the website, which is weird.

I got the LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox in MO Duck Blind pattern at the BPS in Pearland. They worked great during teal season.

Yeah I have some simple cabelas ones that pretty much are the only waders I wear now. Found out on my last teal hunt that they have a leak in them that I think I got while going through barbed wire. Not a big deal I know where it is and have the stuff to patch it. Its much better to find that during teal season.
I have some badass Drake wader pants I wear under them when it starts getting cold. Except for one hunt up in the panhandle a couple years ago I'm never cold in them.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

what ever happened to good ol' smelly brown rubber waders, or waxed canvas? Drake's OLD SCHOOL series should have those in my opinion...
I have orvis breathables and I don't reckon I would use them for dux... they just don't seem as durable as 3 ply nylon or neoprene.
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.
