Ok, this is kinda out there. My sister and her husband died a couple years apart. They were in separate memory care homes. Sad story but what would you do in this case. My sisters husband was a D _ _K !!! He treated her pretty bad, always belittling her in front of people. I guess he was nice to her when not in public or at family gatherings. Anyway, trust me he was a pric_. This was in 2017 and 2018. My sister died in 2017 of Aphasia. She was cremated and I took her ashes to Lake Austin, snuck in some woods down to the edge of the water. I scattered her ashes there as she was a UT Grad, Huge UT Football fan and loved Austin. Her husband passed away about a year later. He was cremated. SO, Dear Abby, I still have my BIL's ashes in my garage. I was going to scatter his azz near the Texas A&M bonfire site. He was in the Corps Cadets and a proud Texas Aggie. I couldn't stand the guy. He treated my sister badly and ruined every family gathering, holidays, etc. I still can't stand him. SO What do I do with his remains? I feel like I might be keeping him in Purgatory. I might be making the BIG GUY mad at me for not laying "Ed" to final rest. I thought about dropping his bag O ashes in the trash pick-up bin. I might go to HE77 if I do that. What would you do???

One He is not the big guy , He is Almighty God. Two. Every person is responsible for their decision on whether they accept Jesus as savior or reject Him.
I wouldn’t do anything I might regret later.

Both my parents were cremated, their wish. Ashes are someplace. Biblically there appears to be a place of holding but Purgatory? Sorry don't believe in it. Don't know what really happens. Yes, wife was raised Catholic but feels same as me.

There’s nothing you can do with his ashes that can impact his salvation or yours .

Fourth, he is already dead and you holding on to ashes is not keeping him anywhere. He is where he will be and that has nothing to do with you.
Feel free to scatter away or do what you want. there may be laws about throwing in the trash, but i do not know that much about cremated bodies. I try to keep people on this side of eternity, so i haven't studied what to do once they pass.

If he was that horrible a person I would mix him in with a corn mash and feed him to the hogs.

Just because you didn't like the guy doesn't mean his remains need to be disposed of without respect.

Put them in the flower bed, maybe get some pretty flowers. Sounds like we have the same BIL. When that basturd dies, I will not be at the funeral.

I would do what I believe my Sister would have wanted me to do with them. Not what I want to do with them. That will not diminish anything bad the man did in life.

Being as you always have new or at least very recent model vehicles, use as oil dry is out. Placed at bonfire site would be good and you still have clear conscience.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 In these verses, there are dire consequences for NOT obeying the gospel. What the world claims as "saved" isn't gonna cut it! Learn what it is, in an eye opening true story, "Muscle and a Shovel", by Michael Shank.

Buzz, I would dispose of his ashes as he requested or as you think would honor him.
It's a tough thing to do the right thing, despite the fact that he didn't do right by your sister.
It means that you do the right thing despite the actions of others....I wish I could say that I have always lived up to that standard, but I'm trying.
Good luck!

Take his cremains' to where you spread your sisters, there must have been something that kept them together. Let them stay together in death. I watched a video on youtube about human composting, if it were available in Texas, I would sign up. Take my composted self and spread me in the wood so it would do the earth some good.
There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

No other family? Why is it left to you to dispose of them? Give them to his kids if he has any.

His soul isn’t with his remains. I’d try and give them to one of his family members like redchevy said. If he doesn’t have any, then do what’s right in your mind.

Is it really hot in your garage? You might leave him in there to get used to the heat.

After reading Sniper’s post, I know that asking SA how much $ it would cost for him to dump them in Bevo’s paddock is wrong.
