no, there are just not any here. Briefly after they reintroduced them, there were some but they didn't last. In fact Tyler county doesn't even have a turkey season

There are small passels of turkeys in a lot of areas in east tx , just not enough to hunt. That looks like a rio to me, which would be really strange

It would be strange.
I have kind of gone on a deep dive because of this, lots of strangeness. Polk co., immediately to the west is a one gobbler season. Angelina county immediately to the north, 1 gobbler county. Sabine immediately east, you guessed it 1 gobbler county. Tyler county, while surrounded by them, has no season.
If I am being honest, I hope it stays that way for awhile, my family and I would love to have a population of turks on our farm.
