Sweet Tooth wanted to go to Trader Joes yesterday for some desserts for her card group, so picked up some goodies for me while we were there. Sea scallops and langoustino tails in citrus garlic butter, and some fresh cut pineapple rice, with red pepper flakes. You eat better than anyone I know. Here in Bandera the OST is about as gourmet as we get.

Lived in Taft,Ca. for a couple of years in late 70's we had a nice steak house and sea food restaurant there, any time i took customers in he would tell me if he had fresh scallops in and I could hurt my self with those.

Good fresh scallops are a treat almost sweet, and so tender they seem to melt in your mouth.
