Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Saw the first one about 4 days ago. Must have been a scout. Do have bluebirds nesting though.

Saw out first one 3/19 and have several working the feeders now, some hanging around I think and others just migrating through.

I think we are still too cold for them here in Idaho, but I did put the feeders out anyway. I like to see them on the patio

Wife said she saw one this morning buzzing one of the red yuccas. We don’t put out feeders, always an issue with bees, wasps, squirrels, and even deer.

How long does the nectar last before it goes bad? I've heard people change it every couple of days and others that leave it a lot longer. If it's not raining I may put mine out tomorrow.

Put ours out a couple of days ago. They buzz our windows to let us know they are here!

Just got here in the last week or so.
right now we change the juice about once a week. When it gets hotter we change it more often.

We just mix sugar and water. Basically the same thing you can buy but a fraction of the cost. How long does it last? I have no idea as we have to refill the 4 feeders we have on the back porch almost every day. Its not uncommon for us to have anywhere from 5-20 at any given time. Will get some pics when I get a chance.

pound for pound these little birds are stronger than an eagle. I call them little fighter jets. So fun to watch them zoom away; usually one following another.
