My Bride and I are heading there for a week for our 20-year anniversary next month. We plan to visit a few museums, plantations, Ft Sumter and sightseeing and hopefully do some sailing. For anyone who has been there anything else we shouldn't miss? Any Restaurants we should try?

Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

https://www.patriotspoint.org/things-to-do/uss-yorktownAre you staying in town or out on one of the islands? Condo or hotel? Do you like raw oysters? How long are you going for? We go out once a year. We want to go more. My wife wants to buy a condo there. We would, but the prices are stupid.

I went there for my honeymoon. Everywhere we ate was great. We were staying in the historic district, made it easy to walk everywhere. A food tour is a good way to get an overview. We ate at High Cotton one night, definitely the fanciest restaurant I've ever been to. Some other highlights I can think of off the top of my head were Amen Street, Ruby Sunshine, Henry's, Carmella's, The Griffon, and for a late night huge slice of pizza Pizzeria Di Giovanni. It's hard to go wrong though in the historic district, I don't know much about the other areas though.

Staying at a very nice B&B about 3 miles from downtown. The Hotels prices were dumb. B&B was half the price. Oysters are my Jam. The Yorktown is on the list as well as the HL Hunley, but might not make it as its only open Sat Sun and we leave Sat.

I love Charleston. Make a reservation at Halls Chophouse. One of the best ribeyes i’ve had, pay the exterior $10 for the truffle butter. We did a walking tour of the historic downtown the first morning we were there, highly recommend starting the trip of that way!
