I already posted this over on the TFF, but since I am more active over here, thought some of you guys might be interested too. We finally got a school sponsor, and my son formed a bass club at his school. We had not competed in any other tournaments this year, so wouldn't be eligible for the regional tournament, but we figured we'd enter the last regular tournament of the year so we could get some experience. Neither of us have ever entered any tournaments before, so we figured we'd just go through the motions to get the layout of tournament fishing. I was going to be ecstatic to just have a fish to weigh in. We'll, to my surprise, we found some fish, and figured out what they were biting. Finished in 13th place out of 160ish boats! To say the boys were on cloud 9 would be an understatement! Very nice!!! Was this the tournament that was on Cedar Creek Lake this last weekend? I spoke to some of the fishermen on the lake this weekend.

Very nice!!! Was this the tournament that was on Cedar Creek Lake this last weekend? I spoke to some of the fishermen on the lake this weekend. Yes, this was on Cedar Creek. It was a really rough weekend. Got blown around, took some boat damage and got burnt...but it was worth it!
