Anyone use an owl hooter to help locate turkeys during dawn and duck hours? I'm just curious if it's worth an investment.

Some of my owl calls are 40 years old. Best locator call I have ever used.

Best and most realistic locator call for TX (maybe coyote, too).

Owl works well and has been for years. During the day a crow call works great.
About any loud noise will work for a shock gobble. I have heard them to train horns, truck horns, gunshot, donkey bray, bull bellow, coyote......
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

I slammed the door to my truck at a gate one time as I was leaving just at dusk. Unbeknownst to me, there were turkeys roosted about 20 or 30 yards away. They gobbled. I giggled.
