Todays weed comes in many strains and potencies. some are very mellow and some will nock you over. Weed shops can help you find the strain for you.

It doesn’t bother me if someone smokes it.
Same as I don’t care if someone has a few drinks.
I don’t care to hangout with anyone, thats in the habit of getting totally trashed. I don’t babysit adults.

Bottom line for me.

I’m 82 yoa and have drank more beer, whiskey etc than dang near anybody or everybody here. 3 Refrigerators full of beer that I haven’t had one of in years. Full liquor cabinet that has dust on the door edges. Smoked cigarettes for most of my life but quit about 10 years ago with no withdrawal symptoms. One puff of MJ a long time ago was enough for me.

Did multiple days/nights in the crossbar hotels courtesy of the local cities narrow mindedness due to not being to walk straight or pass a breath test.

Just have no desire for the stuff and no longer part of my life. Not hypocritical because you need to run your life as you please. I would probably enjoy a margarita but no desire to find out.

I wouldn’t even if it was free and delivered to my door. Was outside earlier doing yard work and could smell it from one of my neighbors. Skunk!

No.

The smell is horrible and people who smoke it have a constant brain fog demeanor.

No, I have no reason to go through my life drunk or high. People that do are miserable inside and looking for an escape.

Lots of truth. Early onset dementia is one of the major issues they are finding with regular use of today’s high powered cannabis.

Not my cup of tea but I know people who partake. They all have said the same thing. The new strains are so much more potent than the stuff you got from the local dealer years ago. Doesn’t sound like a fun time to me. I guess the plus side if you are buying from a dispensary you know what it contains and isn’t laced with something else. It wouldn’t surprise me if at some point it is like buying beer or cigarettes and even still won’t be my thing.

Seems to me the powers that be want to encourage the use by having all the smoke shops around. Just in my area there are smoke shops in small towns around me, including my own. Tyler has got to have 2 or 3 at least.

CBD oil, with minimal THC has helped my wife's diverticulitis better than any prescription med.

I believe Marijuana has medicinal purposes. And being just a plant makes it more appealing to me than big pharma. If I needed it for a medical reason that is. Fortunately, I do not.

Lots of Firefighter buddies have back, knee, hip, and shoulder pain. Several of them have said they are going to give it a try after they retire. Until then, they are just going to have grit their teeth and live with the pain.

Much better!

Opioids REALLY can ruin lives. And ruin them in a matter of weeks.

I've seen oxy kill a coworker. I'm following research on its use for n autism as well. I'm certain it has a place.

I have zero problem with thc in oil or gummies, etc.

Smoking thc, seems like a poor choice for your health. the pungent odor to all around is annoying.

Lifelong friend of mine had a daughter with a brain disorder. They fought for a type of prescription that contained THC to reduce the amount and the severity of seizures but hit some sort of roadblock. Sadly, she passed away at 11yoa.

The original pole didn't list for medical reasons, otherwise I would have voted yes. Just to get high to escape the day to day grind is still a no.
I took and passed over a 100 drug tests over a 43+ year career that required annuals plus random ones.
For some reason our crew had to do the company one, plus a DOT one and randoms. Probably due to dealing with high pressure gas and pipelines.
No way I would put my job and retirement at risk.

No! I've arrested too many people smuggling it or stashing it, in some cases they were 2 or 3 thousand pounds of it. I'm not talking guys with a baggie or a lid. Seen a couple guys on the submarine that were good techs and they turned to worthless pieces of chit because all they could think about was their next high.

If it's licensed and used for medical purposes, I have no beef with it.

No to smoking. If smoking filtered cigarettes is bad for you how is smoking an unfiltered Marijuana any better? Besides, they stink.
