I started looking at 30/30 pistol load data based on a 14” contender pistol, assuming the faster pistol loads will also produce better velocity in my 16” rifle. According to the Hornady app, Vihtavouri N-130 leads the pack in a 14” Contender, pushing 150 grains to 1900 fps. It does not even list data for the same powder in a rifle.

For my next reloading purchase, after a tumbler, I am looking for the most efficient powder for a 16” 30/30.

Probably H110 or Lilgun. N130 is about 90%, Lilgun 97%.

For cast bullet plinkers I use 10 grains of Unique for .30-30 for rifle use.

Pass the gravy.
