Our grand daughter will be turning 2 next month and she'll need a cradle for her babies. I made this out of a water oak that fell a couple years ago on the place. I had it resawed last year at a small mill near me. The wood has air dried for a year so it's stable. The wood has some splatting in it from moisture and adds a unique touch for color. My wife is crocheting a baby blanket for all the dollies.
