Alternativey, Haiti is not far away and abductions are relatively common. Would not surprise me if some bad juju spilled over into the DR and made her a victim. Even though Punta Cana is on the opposite end of the island from Haiti.

May have all happened that way but seems pretty conveniently coincidental. Statistically speaking it is usually the last person seen with the person perpetrating the crime act. Again, could have gone down his story version, but most likely not. Apparently he is lawyered up and has refused to answer 8 or more questions during interrogations citing, "I will not respond at the request of my attorney". Sad situation around....
