I’m amazed by their prices that they sell anything at all. I looked at a scope today , $240 more than I can buy from Euro. And the PRS Gen 3 stock, $100 more than Midway.
Do they price match ?

I’ve been in that store prob 3/4 times the last 2 years and it’s dead in there
Sat and Sun they may have some traffic but I’d bet that store closes in the next few years

They'll price match Optics Planet you can get some good deals if you have other discounts available like Military/Leo for another 10% off.

I still have their card and have points. I do not spend much per month on that card.
I go in and still leave empty handed.
I will eventually get something. My son needs a new scope and points is better than paying.

Their CC has good benefits such as free phone insurance if you link it to your phone bill.

Since it became Bass Pro Shop it has changed and not for the better. I wonder for how much longer will they keep tagging on the Cabelas name.

Stopped all that when BPS bought that great brand and ruined it.

Anyone remember back when Cabelas was just a small ad in the back of Field and Stream?

Anyone remember back when Cabelas was just a small ad in the back of Field and Stream? Yep and later their catalog had trapping supplies and all kinds of unique hunting equipment that wasn’t in any other catalog.

Cabela’s brand products had a lifetime warranty that was genuine. After the acquisition Bass Pro abruptly end to those warranties. The Redhead products don't compare with the old Cabela’s Brand. Their sales and rewards program was also greatly diminished.

They are building one here in Odessa/Midland (BPS) and should have it up in year or so. I may apply there and bail on the oilfield work. Been at it for 35 plus years! With what I know about outdoors that means I would get put in ladies footwear department!

Anyone remember back when Cabelas was just a small ad in the back of Field and Stream? Yep, and Gander Mountain was the same way. As a kid I always looked forward to the GM catalogs. Then they opened a store in Sherman and it sucked rocks.

Do they still have the bargain cave? No, that was the first thing to go in the Allen store when they were bought out.

Thanks, Bass Pro! Bass pro destroyed Cabelas. Shame. BP bought their competition and destroyed it. I have never like BP's hunting gear.

Cabelas and Sheels is a long haul from S Grand Prairie. I had high hopes for the new BP here but was highly disappointed in what I found. We did pop in to Grab aGun last week. They’ll get any new gun orders from me.

I occasionally go to Cabelas just to wander around and look at stuff. Pricey!!!
Seldom buy because I already have all the guns, reloading and fishing stuff I’ll ever use. I recently bought a couple of shirts.
