After part of the group got settled into camp and checked zero they brought out the glass just to see what was moving around camp before the others made it in. A bighorn ewe was seen in the distance and then this hammer of a ram. The hunt technically did not start until the following morning but rams of this caliber don't come by often. I gave the go ahead to get after him and the rest was history. Great start to the hunt. www.westtexashunt.com ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/01/full-6499-443465-1000011803.jpg)

I shared a Nilgai camp with a father son (Bear and Spike) team this weekend who hunted aoudad with Mike in the past and each took MONSTER rams. They had nothing but great things to say about Mike and his outfit.
