Lots of reasons to buy new vehicles, a lot of businesses need fleet vehicles. I run through trucks like crazy and I have bought both used and new vehicles. Considering trade-in values I really don’t think I come out ahead at all with a used vehicle. Putting 50,000+ or minus miles a year on my trucks, I like the peace of mind that a newer vehicle brings.

Not only that but the price difference between a used truck and a new truck isn’t all that different if the vehicle is within three years old.

The “buy used” vehicle mantra isn’t a one-size-fits-all for everybody

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Just checked and prices are basically the exact same as three months ago when I was looking....

Agreed, and a lot of times buying new is a better deal all around. Most of the people I know that tout 'buy-used' are bad at haggling and tend to make poor vehicle choices to begin with.

I was in Hondo the other day. You would be amazed on the number of new cars being transported out of Mexico by rail.

AND....
If you dont have the luxury of paying cash, the rates for new vs used often makes up for the price difference.
With the complexity of newer vehicles, the comfort of knowing you have a full warranty is nice as well.
