Anyone have any damage from this crazy wind? The only way I’m typing this is because I’m on my Ranger at a high point on the ranch. The AT&T tower is down and it can’t be repaired today.

I drove through a carport this morning….wasn’t mine but it was in the middle of the road with gale force winds and pouring rain. Very limited visibility

My cheap HD flag poll bent and the wife had the house windows open and lost a vase…but the plant survived.

Blew hard here, but no damage near the house. Tomorrow I’ll go look in the back.

One large post oak snapped in half and fell across the driveway and another large post oak snapped off and fell next to the fence. I know what I will be doing Saturday.

There was a large fire near Braunig lake earlier today, most of the roads in that area were closed off.

Some powerlines are down in our area. United Coop said they couldn`t put anyone in a bucket to repair them until the wind lays.

Dallas we had 65-75 mph winds.
Just like last year around Memorial weekend I was out in the light rain moving tree limbs and picking up trash cans out of the alley and on our street so our neighbors could get around.
Fortunately I did not have to get the chainsaw out this time.

Wonder if there are any fires kicking up out west from these winds?

Luckily no rain in the forecast, I won’t be home until Thursday morning to do anything about it

I lost two big trees this morning. The live oak was about 30-inch diameter and the cedar elm about 18-inch. They both went right across my driveway.

Got 1.25” rain early( 6:30-7:15), all was good, I thought, 07:45 power went out, was out for about 4hrs. No damage other than a few branches down thankfully. People in Oklahoma didn’t fair as well. No word of injury or death, but gonna be alot of clean up.

I lost the siding and insulation on one side of my well house. The goats were running around eating the insulation.

I saw a billboard literally blow over in front of me today on I-20 just East of Sweetwater. It was brutal driving from Abilene to Monahans.

We lost a wellhead…. Literally. The crane and wireline truck that went out to location to run a cased hole log for us couldn’t find the well-head. A sand dune had formed over it.

It's been blowing like crazy since 5am here. Some large limbs snapped in front and back yards.
My tractor seat cushion is missing - must be two counties over by now, I'm pretty sure I'll never see that again.

Luckily power has been holding up well - crews have kept lines trimmed really well last few years around here.

Baseball game in Marshall and couldn’t believe the wind. Didn’t keep us from an 11-0 win.
Some intersections here no power.
Driving my little 86 Toyota PU and feel like this little thing may blow off I20.
