Power is out at the farm because of the storm. On solar/battery backup power. With minimal usage the batteries should last 70-80hrs(down to 20%) before the generator kicks in and recharges them.
As luck would have it the power is out at the Ranch also. I don’t know if it is because of winds or if the utility company turned it off preemptively. I heard some rural utilities were doing that in west Texas to prevent fires. The generator is able to run quite a while.

My generator kicked in about 4:15 this morning and its still going. Oncor says 211,090 homes and business down in the North Texas...here in rural Wise county, we will be way down on the list.
No worries. I'll change the oil Saturday if the power does not come back on. Propane tank is at 70%...I'll worry in about 9 days.
