To the same woman. Yesterday was day 1 of the 58th year. She cooked me breakfast, which is rare indeed, but needs explanation. On the morning of the original Day 1, all those years ago, she asked if I wanted breakfast before I went to work. Sounded good from an adorable brand new little red headed wife, so I said I did. She got busy and cooked me a lumberjack breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee. It was great. Then she asked “Do you need this every morning”? I said no, and she never did it again. Never. But, she sure was cute.
Every now and then she’ll cook me a couple of eggs, but it’s not a Lumberjack breakfast, but that’s Ok. Still cute! I married well! Congratulations and a great story.

Congrats to the missus and you 603. Besides a man’s faith, the woman he chooses as his mate may impact his life more than any other decision he makes. Well done.

I’ve been married over 60 years. Not to the same women. The first one started sharing her favors after about 20 years. I became suddenly single. She said it was my fault for driving her into the arms of another man. Yeah; right. After the shock wore off, I started stepping out a little. Met women at a Singles Group of a large Methodist Church and it was like getting a drink out of a fire hose. I had to turn off my cell phone and take the house phone off the hook when I had company. After about 3 years the right one came along and have about 35 years with her. I figure this one will last. I’m too damn old to start over.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
