As much as so many on here hate De Niro, Im surprised nothings being posted about this Netflix series. Anyone know anything about it?

The premise of "suspension of disbelief" (hat tip to Coleridge) is, at least for me, a necessity when viewing most cinematic productions. IMHO, as De Niro [and all the rest of the arrogant liberal blowhards] can't possibly act well enough for me to forget who he actually is and how much I personally despise him, I doubt that I will ever again willingly watch any production with which he is involved. (Having said that, I recently, and totally by accident, stumbled across an older film with Ashley Judd that I actually liked! Then again, she was pretty hot back in the day.)

He's a punk. I saw some Youtube videos of his tough talk protests on the streets on NY. What you don't see in the fake news replays of his trying to be bad a-- are the 7-8 NFL lineman sized bodyguards he had with him. They formed a tight huddle around him as he walked away.

I watched it, because my brother said it was good. I told him I was surprised deniro did this, but when I researched it, the project started taking shape in 2022, and was set for filming in 2023 but had to be delayed due to the strike.
I aksed my bro if he thought this was DeNiro's subtle jab at trump, but looking at the timing, I don't think that is the case at all. I do think it is a good commentary on the abuses of power people are willing tp put up with all in the name of safety. And the govt is the main culprit of the problems
