Driving to Jacksboro yesterday morning to play in the woods. Around 8:45 am on Hwy. 380 west of Bridgeport I am wanting to pass a Jeep Wrangler going 45 mps, problem is we are in a long no passing area.
All of the sudden a pocket rocket motorcycle goes blowing past us doing 100 + mph in the no passing zone, right after that it becomes a passing area, put on my blinker go around the Jeep and about 2 seconds after that two State Troopers in separate SUV's with their lights on go blowing past me after the motorcycle

I kept thinking I would see them up the road with the guy in handcuffs or in an ambulance, did not see either of them the rest of the way.

My son is an LEO and has a pretty fast patrol car - he told me there is no way he can keep up with some of these motorcycles - especially if they are on an open stretch like a toll road

We just had the helicopter follow them until they stopped. Then the ground units would arrange a night in the gray bar motel.

My buddy rides his Aprilla RSV4 1100 over 100 all the time. Said it's rated to 217 mph, but he chickens out around 180 all the time!! People have no idea just how fast that really is.

The kid on this bike bought the big one in my front yard. We are just down the FM road from some big "S" curves where the crotch rocket jockey's love to play at stupid high speeds late at night. The sheriff's crew was picking up the pieces of this bike for over a quarter mile and piled them in my yard for the tow truck. I found his rear mirror in one of my shrubs a few days later. Sad deal.

Was in Dallas and several came by on one wheel at 70 mph. Police drones are coming.

I once faced those scooters. But, In the early 1960’s we built an AFuel dragster. Went from Green Valley outside of D/FW to Florida with various stops on the way. Then to Canada after a couple of stops. Then back to Cowtown. I left for the USAF and my brother and another guy kept going. The other guy, Chuck, was behind the wheel somewhere on the East Coast when things went haywire at close to 200 mph. They didn’t find much of him.

My brother kept going but with midgets on oval tracks.

been above 160 many times on 2 wheels, it all happens really fast and minimal reaction time. Was in my much younger and more daredevil days, wheelies to 140+ ... yep young and dumb
