About 10 years ago, I was getting water under our little guest house. No busted pipes, but I found that the bathroom sink drain was no longer connected to the pipe to the septic. I had to fix it in a hurry, and I could see that it wasn’t going to be an easy fix. But, I had Gorilla Duct Tape, so I wrapped the gap with a thick band of Duct Tape. Wasn’t a pressure line of any sort, so I figured I’d be Ok for a while. And then I forgot all about it. I got about 10 years out of the Duct Tape fix. Yesterday I had to do the real fix, with real PVC. Fun times….yessir…

The bad news is that the Gorilla Duct Tape was really hard to remove. That’s some serious stuff.

Yes, much better than normal duct tape.

Hit the duct tape with some solvent first. Maybe mineral spirits or even lighter fluid.

Finally, I cut off the taped up end of pipe and redid that section. Wasn’t easy and I had to do it with only my right hand reaching under the house. The pipe cutter will cut up to 2” pipe, and I bought one that big by accident. A good accident.

I use duct tape to the boots on my bird dogs. I used Gorilla brand ONCE... never again. I had to use scissors to get the boots off and then spent a couple of hours getting the glue off the rubber boots.

We all need to practice Whoa more.
