Rudy’s family really sucked. Hard to watch because I had family like that.

I don’t care what anyone says, DiCaprio is an amazing actor. He played Arnie very well

I know what you mean about his family. I think that’s the beauty of it for me (and it being a true story), even when everyone tells you it’s impossible, that you’ll never make it and you’re not good enough, to never give up. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Yes. His portrayal of Arnie was spot on. His acting skills are top notch.

To answer the OP, I’d have to go with October Sky. I could provide a list, but for a family friendly, feel good movie, that’s the best one I can think of, right now.

The real story is quite interesting. He was out of high school for 4 years before he went back to school.

This is what you guys do. Terrorize folks you don’t like, get the thread locked, follow them around on the forum and play with their thread and posts. At least you tried to be subtle, this time.

These guys do whatever they want here. They are big dogs here in this forum, but no place else in this world. Some of them are obviously miserable, terrible people. Hopefully not actual cops, what a terrible representation of law enforcement. And by now, probably good and drunk. I understand that now, this is why they do what they do. I made my peace with that 👌
