For years driving around our lease we've been buckling the seat belt and throwing the strap over the back of the seat so we don't have to listen to the alarm. Just picked up a couple of these for the truck and they work perfect. Never leaving my console. I found these 3 inch seatbelt extenders a better option for that purpose. Cuts out the alarm, you can still use your seatbelt, and it is easier to connect and disconnect your seatbelt. You order them vehicle specific and there are longer ones available for those that need them. I have been real happy with mine and it is what several on an HD truck forum i participate on use in their trucks. I know Ram trucks have a way to turn that alarm off, but I still prefer these in mine. https://www.seatbeltextenderpros.comSeatbelt clips like the one you found have been available for years on ebay like 2 bucks or less and free shipping. Had my son turn mine off using Forscan, along with all the other annoying chimes on a F150, daytime running lights are off now too.
Neat little tool though, better than the seatbelt plug ins that still work for you.

This is how to turn it off on my truck. I think it should work for other Rams covering several years.

Got 'em in several vehicles. Warnings/liability on the package about drinking and driving and not having your seatbelt on are quite humorous.

My trucks are programed not to ding. Several friends trucks drive me crazy so i gave out several sets of them for Christmas. I need to find one that fits a Kawasaki Pro mule.

This is how to turn it off on my truck. I think it should work for other Rams covering several years. it worked on my 2022 Ram 1500 and my 2024 Ram 3500. THANKS!

Just use the buckle cut off from a dead seatbelt . Most seat belts lock down in a crash and a body shop replaces with new . My shop saves them for friends for lease use . So check with a local shop .

There are many different seat belt buckles . It will have to be the same type . I went to a wrecking yard and got one from the same make and model as mine ….easy and cheap

Been needing to do this for 4 years. I just buckled the center seat belt to the drivers side and tucked it behind me. I'll be more high brow this way.

Switching the Seatbelt Reminder On and Off
WARNING WARNING: While the system allows you to deactivate it, this system is designed to improve your chances of being safely belted and surviving an accident. We recommend you leave the system activated for yourself and others who may use the vehicle.
Note: The driver and front passenger warnings switch off independently. When you perform this procedure for one seating position, do not buckle the other position as this cancels the process.
Note: If you are using MyKey, you cannot disable the seatbelt reminder. Also, if the seatbelt reminder has been previously disabled, it will be re-enabled during the use of MyKey.
Read Steps 1 - 4 before proceeding with the programming procedure.
Make sure that:
The parking brake is set.
The transmission is in park (P).
The ignition is off.
The driver and front passenger seatbelts are unfastened.
Switch the ignition on.Do not start the engine.
Wait about one minute until the seatbelt warning light switches off. After Step 2, wait an additional five seconds before proceeding with Step 3. Once you start Step 3, you must complete the procedure within 30 seconds.
For the seating position you are switching off, buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt three times at a moderate speed, ending in the unbuckled state. After Step 3, the seatbelt warning light switches on.
When the seatbelt warning light is on, buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt. After Step 4, the seatbelt warning light flashes for confirmation.
This switches the feature off for that seating position if it is currently on.
