The action, recoil lug, and 20 MOA Pic rail are machined from the same bar of steel. 75° bolt throw. An action for life! Rem 700 footprint, makes stocks no so difficult and triggers no problem. I don't know what bullet you are thinking but take that same bullet weight and make it a 300wsm Bad medicine on anything that would come in contact with it...I ran a 155 Lapua Scenar in mine, right in the 3100 neighborhood and nothing survives it....mine is 24" and running 3260.
