Just saw her drop a single egg, usually she drops about 4 at a time.

They are not fertile since the other Chinese Geese are females, Have you eaten them? Are they gamey tasting?

We used to go to the local duck ponds in Las Colinas in Irving as kids and grab duck eggs and make french toast and they tasted fine from my memory.

Fried or Boiled?

I have ate a goose egg, it was stronger than chicken or duck eggs, not bad eating at all, it’s a lot of egg in one, it covered the whole plate.
Duck eggs are my favorite, hands down.

I don't see why it wouldn't be edible and good. I've had chicken, duck and turkey eggs, seems like it would be similar. As long as you saw the goose drop it ... would hate for it to be a snake, turtle or alligator egg eeks333

Eggs are abundant at anout 0.50 a piece including farm raised. I dont understand the noise about something so inexpensive. I eat 3-4 dz a week which is more than most families

Less than .40 cents each at Wallyworld. I eat 1-2 daily. Where else can you get this much real protein for that price?

I agree. They’re delicious and healthy. A complete meal, nutritionally speaking. For what they cost, it’s a bargain. I don’t keep track of how many eggs I go through in a week, but I’d guess 2-3 dozen, on average. Not all eggs are created equal, but these Neanderthals aren’t ready for that conversation.

Beats me, Jimbo. And protein is just the tip of the iceberg. Eggs have so much more to offer than just protein. Healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. They’re probably the best food source for the price, as far as I know.
