It was unearthed in Montana over 135 years ago and hung on Display in Texas for many years! Lots of Hand Sanding as Mammoth does not like machine sanding!! Which brings us to the Blade! If you look closely at the left handle just in front of the middle pin there's a bit of rose coloring. This whole tusk has small rose colored spots. Was told by a Geologist this is where Gold was touching the tusk! Because the tusk was south of the permafrost line it just has hints of the coloring but still cool nonetheless! Ivory found in the permafrost would have been full of color!
