Great job by the SW pilot, looks there was no hesitation, and their decision making skills and procedures were good. I would like to know if the little plane had been given clearance to cross, either way, he didnt look out of the right window.

Looks like a United commuter jet. I don’t see a crossing where that aircraft is. If anything it’s further up behind the spot where the SW jet was.
Could’ve been a bad day for all. Eek.

That looks like a private jet. It is too small to be a regional. It is too far to see, but an older Falcon or a small newer gulf stream.
That is an ATC or a commercial pilot error.

Good point. Not many windows. You have to wonder what comms these guys were on. If both weren’t with the tower that could be an issue. Ground freq for the smaller aircraft? Who knows.

He read back hold short 31C and then went right across it and SWA put the power in to go around. SWA did a good job here and that flexjet should not have been where it was.

Would like to see a computer reenactment to see how close they came to a collision.
I listen to allot of cockpit comms on YouTube. Most pilots talk so fast and some lackadaisical in their transmissions. I could see the hot shot private jet pilot big timing it and not paying attention.
