I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect. Some people live an entire lifetime & wonder if they ever made a difference in the world, a veteran doesn't have that problem. Reagan

I guess it's the only thing Biden did right then.

I checked the SSA website and they have updated it with the Fairness Act information.
Late evening on Thursday February 20th, I/we filled out the online form so my wife (retired teacher) could draw on my qualified earnings.
We were very surprised when my wife received a call Friday morning the 21st from a SSA person from the local office to confirm and complete the application over the phone.
Another surprise is we received a confirmation letter in the mail today, February 26th. I have been really impressed with the speed of response from the SSA.
Now to just wait and see where it goes from here.

Yeah, I’m trying to assist my elderly uncle in getting spousal benefits. It stated you had to call and speak with someone for spousal information and I got an endless loop of voice prompts……😒

We just created an online account for SSA for my wife and they hav already approved her to receive SS on my earnings.
We applied on the 21st and approved by the 27th. Still waiting on the first payment that will probably start in March. Just got a text from our bank that SS made the deposit.
I was expecting this take weeks or months, not just a few days. I wonder if they were told to get the lead out and make this happen.
Good luck to everyone else that is starting this process.
