curious what "fair market" is these days?? I also have one and if the $$ is right I'd let her go... Usually $400-1500.  Lots of variables. Mine is a 1951 "peanut" without the insert engraved and with a steel Redfield peep sight.

Well, 9422 guys might argue on the best? 39A's are take downs. 9422's are not. Does the 9422 shoot shorts? The 39A does. Maybe this will be helpful I don't see a Mountie or a Peanut on their list. Those are the ones that can be worth four digits.
