This guy will not get your euro done in a week or two or three or four...he does not boil the skulls; he uses beetles to remove the meat and then degreases the skulls for 1-3 months depending on species. He's done close to 30 skulls for me. I've had skulls done in the past that were boiled they turn darker over time, are more brittle, and do not have the nasal bones that look like lace because they tend to come apart when boiled. This is the only guy I use for Euro mounts, reasonable pricing, not quick but quality takes time. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-56041-446237-skull_works.png)

X2 for MC, two whitetails and aoudad for me this year

Third for MC, mike cottrell. He does a really good job and super easy to work with.
I only had one buck this year for him, but usually give him a couple a year. He has done probably a dozen and a half for me so far.

Another for Mike. The guy can do it all but prefers to boil skulls.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Any of you who live on or near tidal waters you have the best and lowest cost European mount producer you can desire!!
As I lived on the water on Padre island for 25 years all my decent but less than mountable racks were provided via the salt water eco system!!
Placing the head unskinned sub merged in the tidal water would produce the most thoroughly cleaned mount you could imagine, The crabs, fish and other organisms would accomplish this in about 40 to 60 days.
I know if this occurred in mass with many many people doing it in one location it could cause undesirable pollution results. But one guy doing it in a limited area feeds the bio mass and makes amazingly clean heads.
