I mean, in rural areas I could see keeping your deer rifle with you when in the grocery store - have seen that in Alaska a few times and it never seemed to raise any eyebrows. I realize that Brookshires tend to be in smaller cities & towns, but they're usually not so far out in the sticks that one would have to carry your rifle in with you.

I’ve seen videos where people walk right in stores with their long guns, in Alaska, the attendant didn’t pay it any attention, I guess a lot of people arrive on snow machines and don’t want to leave their gun on it?
It’s probably a way of life.
