Who pays for that? Serious question, I don't know. One thing is for sure, it's not fee. Someone has to finance that (pay for it), and intuitively it would be the consumer.

I’m sure it’s built into the price. Nothings free.

Classic Chevy in Sherman call me back Saturday morning and had some pretty good numbers on the one we bought. So we were headed to Gainesville to looks at some other trucks and stopped by to look at this one again and never left.
Had a great sales experience at Classic Chevy no sales pressure or showroom B.S. everything was straight forward and explained, I'd deal with them again.

Anyway it's a 2025 Z71 Silverado LT 4WD, V8 with more buttons and gizmos than I'll ever push. Truck came with spray in bed liner and heavy duty full floor mats something I'd have to buy buy but I'm sure i paid for them. It meets my needs and will be garage kept and hoping to get 15-16 years out of it like all my other trucks.
Adding running boards Monday.

Looks like a shell game to me. Intuitively, I would think dealers offer:

1) High price and zero % financing.

Or 2) Lower price and market % financing.

To get a market price and no financing, you must beat them at their shell game and go with offer 2 and pay off the loan in month 1.

Mileage on current tank of fuel is looking like the first tank was not a fluke.

Smokey, the mpg isn’t a fluke. I have a 2020 GMC X31 SLT with 114K miles on it. 27.5 mpg overall. Zero issues so far but I seem to be in the minority. If yours is a good one like mine it will be fantastic. I love the fuel mileage. I hate that you are looking at major maintenance at 150-200 K.

My only advice the 3.0 doesn’t like to put put around. It needs regular drives of 25-30 miles at 55-75 mph to regen properly. That is usually not an issue for foresters like us.

Good luck.

Nice truck, congratulations. I’d be proud of that truck and your arm squeeze. You did good on both.
