Agree with above on Jeremy. Went a few years ago and had a blast. Shot my antelope on the home place of the original XIT ranch which has a lot of interesting history.

+1 for Jeremy. I got my Pronghorn with Jeremy's outfit on a ranch north of Logan, NM.

Also curious ^ I see them listed as much as an African Safari these days. I've been on the search for any $2000 or less

'Sorry...not gonna happen, unless you're personal friends with a landowner, then maybe. 'Best to try for public DIY in Wyoming.

Well that's disconcerting. He hasn't posted on here in a while. Someone should be able to shed some light on the situation on here.

I've hunted pronghorn with Jeremy, and he put me and my dad on a couple very nice goats. He is a class act and consistently puts people on big critters. I also hunted up there with Clay Pope of Pope brothers' outfitters about 15 years ago. He put me on a really nice goat as well. You may want to try him out. At one time he was getting a truckload of landowner tags for the panhandle.

Unfortunately Jeremy is booked up with only one slot open this year in Texas. Any other recommendations? I spoke to Sambo Coleman that does hunts in the panhandle but he will not be getting permits until this summer. Trying to secure something solid but maybe Sambo will be good to go.

With your budget you may look at putting draw applications in with NM, CO, and WY

My budget? I never mentioned anything about a budget. I didn't really have one at this point.

Someone else on the thread mentioned 2000 budget so easy mistake to make.

We have always just bought landowner tags, bought 10-15 over the years taking my kids, most were $800-1200, it does take a few phone calls but has never been a problem, have killed some Booners this way in central NM

I'm betting there are no cheap LO tags anymore, too much demand for them now.
PPs would be needed for Wyoming draw but chance at a random tag if you apply, pick an area with lots of licenses this year.
Quotas will not be out until April though.

Many years back I hunted the panhandle for $600. That was the tag and access on private for a DIY hunt. Can't find that anymore either.

Good luck they are fun to hunt.
