I think the Trump team thinks they'll have alot more public buy in on what they're trying to get accomplished if the public gets something tangible back from the administration.

Kind of the same thing as buying votes, except they're trying to buy good will in the court of public opinion.

It's a second term presidency and they have 3 years and 11 months to win in the court of public opinion. Instead, make the tax changes permanent and let's pause celebrating until we make it past 5% (that's being kind) of the effort

Biden, with the enthusiastic assistance of Congress, looted the economy with Build Back, Build back better Bs. Through heavy inflation, It lowered the value of the dollar. The $ we have put away, through social security withholding and personal investing for the future buys a lot less groceries and medical care. We, as a nation, are bankrupting and head over heels in debt with nothing left backing it.

Just wait until Musk opens the vault at Ft Knox and finds it empty…talk about inflation!!!

Whatever they find in there they should use that to paid off debt too, and the saving from not having to house it and guard it.

The $5,000 kickback is political chess and nothing more. It is a lot of money that will go into the system and make monthly reported numbers on the financial channels look good. Every month you get these made up numbers, like consumer spending, GDP, on and on. Those numbers will get a little help. Hopefully some will knock down credit card debt.

The US dollar stopped being gold backed / gold standard in 1971. There is not enough gold in the country much less Ft Knox to back the value of our paper based fiat currency

There is no way the dividends could be distributed out fairly. Young people who have worked almost none at all getting the same as a married couple that has paid in for 40 years is BS.
