Do you eat them, Collards? Mustard?

Tried a big batch of leaves from my broccoli plants for the first time today. They were excellent. I'll never let broccoli leaves go to waste in the compost pile again.

Spinach or collard greens. Mustard greens have a tinny taste to me, no matter how fresh

Beer and whiskey, 'cause you can't drink bacon!!

I like mustard greens with chopped bacon, onions, radishes and then pour the hot bacon grease over them and eat up. I haven`t had a garden in 15 years and I don`t know where you can buy mustard greens. I tried collard greens once out of a can, and they were terrible. Probably not the best way to eat them though.

Ate lots of greens growing up. Grew lots turnups, mustard and collards back then. Now days buy most of what we eat from farmers market or if critters have left me some in the green patches will pick some of those. Like about all of them but TPACK knows how to mqke mustard the right way.

All the YouTube recipes show them cooking the mustard greens until they are completely softened like you cook spinach. I just pour the hot bacon grease over them, and it slightly cooks them leaving them a little crunchy. food

I can eat a lot of greens, all kinds and varieties ... not so much on polk salad ... the few times I've tried those, they were bitter and tough, likely weren't picked soon enough.

my dad sowed turnip seeds under his overhead gas/diesel tanks to prevent johnson grass from coming up so thick. seemed to work and we had turnips & greens for quite some time.

Spinach, often. Garlic and bacon in a cast iron skillet, let it sizzle a bit. Turn down heat, start tossing in the spinach, keep it moving, keep adding until the bag is empty. Heavy cream, a little white pepper. Your steak has rested just the right amount of time. Eat. Good.
