Been asking this question for years. Have never gotten an answer, but I have faith that Elon will find the answer. Lobbyists and insider trading. There is an app that shows what any politician invests in. A guy I work with invests in anything a politician invests in. Thus far, he has always gained value on his investments. He's been doing it for two years.

Pelosi's husband is a big-time venture capitalist. I'm sure the connections to her insider info helps, but he's the one with the money. I thought that Warren was super-rich before she went into government. McConnell's wife is Elane Chao whose family owns a shipping business and is loaded (the family donated 40M to Harvard when Chao's mom died). No idea on Schumer.

But matching the S&P 500, you can buy an index fund and do that, which is what most people should do, and what Warren Buffett recommends. Maybe I’m missing something?
