Man you've got a lot of great bucks, but that one at the end would get really get my blood pumping if he stepped out in front of me!

Thanks for posting. Did yall not try to hunt the older looking 8 that was by himself at the trough. he had two different youth hunters (ages 12 and 13) fling an arrow at him, and both missed. 1st hunter shot right under him. Buck didn't move one inch when he shot, stood there and looked, and casually walked off before he could re-knock another arrow. 2nd hunter shot over his back. the buck must have gotten smart because the hunter aimed mid-body, and the deer ducked the arrow and hauled butt. Even without the wanted ending, both hunters (new bow hunters that have never released an arrow on a deer) we so excited with the experience, disappointed with the result, but suffice it to say they are HOOKED on bow hunting and all the challenges it represents.

What region of the state? Menard County I thought it looked western hill country / Edwards plateau. We are in Edwards and Real before it drops down into the river bottoms. Very similar country. Those are great deer for that area.
