I’m not a fan of the name change personally.
I will continue to refer to it as the Gulf of Mexico

I think it was about not having a huge body of water named after a country that has caused us so many problems after we kicked their azz.  Now if he'd send those F35s to pay some cartels a visit.

It was called Denali for thousands of years before McKinley was born. It was first federally designated at Mt. McKinley. It was never designated as Denali until Obama changed it in 2015. Denali was how it was referred to by natives but that was not its official name. We can change Fort Hood back now too

But not if it's just to change the name as a catty snub to Mexico. Thats along the same lines as changing French Toast and French Fries to Liberty Toast and Freedom Fries
