Could you use 700 X instead of the 800
some people like silver and gold
I like brass and lead with a little powder in between

I was told as the houston gun show couple weeks ago, that Trail Boss is a gone Pecan! no source, unless some
store is hoarding it for a rainy day!
I need some to try out for some .308 suppressed loads, subs.....

Could you use 700 X instead of the 800 I have about 7 lbs of 700X. 800X is a little slower burning.

I spoke to Hodgdon directly. Trail Boss is not dead. Made is Australia and they hope to have it back in the next few months. Bump for the OP

My buddy and I have been looking for Trail Boss for the last 3 months and could not find any. We even went to 4 different gun shows around Houston area and came home empty hand. On a side note, anyone in Houston area who has Trail Boss not in use, please send me a PM. We can do a trade or I can buy from you.
